Michigan ACDA is proud to organize the Fall 2026 Intercollegiate Honor Choir
Dr. Derrick Fox, Conductor
Calling all SATB Collegiate choir members from across the state! The Intercollegiate Honor Choir is an excellent opportunity for you to sing quality literature with our clinician Dr. Derrick Fox, and alongside your future Michigan choir directors. Participation in the Intercollegiate Honor Choir lets you sing music and network with other choral scholars in the state, while also attending the sessions and performances at our Fall Conference.
FAQ
How much will it cost?
The student rate for the Fall Conference is only $25! Participation in the Intercollegiate Honor Choir is included in your Conference registration.
What if we don’t have enough of a certain voice part?
The Eastern Michigan University Choir will be singing as the “core” of the Intercollegiate Choir, so even if there are not as many bass registrants as sopranos, all parts will be covered.
What are we singing?
Digital repertoire will be available, and you can select to have a physical music packet for an additional cost when you register for the conference. The Intercollegiate Choir repertoire is below:
“Non Nobis, Domine” – Rosephanye Powell
“Serenade” – Edward Elgar
“Lord, Give Me Just a Little More Time” – Derrick Fox
“I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” – Jasper Randall
Do I have to know the music before Fall Conference?
Your preparation is appreciated due to the limited rehearsal time. However, we understand that college students have many obligations that take priority, so if you aren’t able to look at the music ahead of time, that’s alright. Our coordinators and conductor will be excited to work with you regardless of preparation level!
