Michigan ACDA is proud to organize the Fall 2026 Conductor’s Chorus

Included within your Fall Conference registration is registration for active and retired choral directors to sing in our Conductor’s Chorus. For directors who don’t usually get the opportunity to be on the choral end of the baton, the Conductor’s Chorus allows all of those who were first inspired by singing in ensembles to recapture that magic. Participation in the Conductor’s Chorus lets you sing music and network with other directors in the state, while also attending the sessions and performances at our Fall Conference.

How much will it cost?
Nothing! Participation in the Conductor’s Chorus is included in your Conference registration.
What are we singing?
Digital repertoire will be available, and you can select to have a physical music packet for an additional cost when you register for the conference. The Conductor’s Chorus repertoire is below:

Do I have to know the music before Fall Conference?
Your preparation is appreciated due to the limited rehearsal time. However, we understand that directors have many obligations that take priority, so if you aren’t able to look at the music ahead of time, that’s alright. Our coordinators and conductor will be excited to work with you regardless of preparation level!
