MSU Women’s Chamber Ensemble presents The Journey of Harriet Tubman

On March 14, 2020, the Michigan State University Women’s Chamber Ensemble is hosting a multigenerational choral concert performing the work, The Journey of Harriet Tubman. Treble choirs from across the state of Michigan will participate including the MSU Community Music School Children’s Choir and Treble Choir, the Eastern Michigan University Women’s Choir, Voca Lyrica (Big Rapids), Vocal Majority (Traverse City), and La Alma (Holland). There is also a scheduled panel discussion before the event with moderator Ginny Kerwin (Voca Lyrica), Dr. Ronald Kean (Cal State University Bakersfield), Mr. Stacey Gibbs (Detroit), Dr. Eugene Rogers (University of Michigan), and Dr. Sandra Snow (Michigan State University).

The concert will take place at the University United Methodist Church in East Lansing at 7:00 p.m. under the direction of Dr. Sandra Snow.
