Interim Adjunct Director of Choral Activities and/or Vocal Music Educator

Eastern Michigan University Department of Music and Dance invites applications for an interim adjunct director of choral activities and/or vocal music educator for the 2011-12 academic year. The successful candidate(s) will conduct and administer the University Choir and Chamber Choir ensemble programs, and/or teach undergraduate choral conducting,and music education methods courses. This interim appointment (salaried only, no benefits) will begin August 29, 2011 and continue through April 30, 2012.
Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include an MA in choral conducting, vocal music education, or equivalent field, with additional graduate work and choral conducting experience preferred.
