I. Voices from Our Past: CHORAL MUSIC.
This first in the series of articles was a reprint of an article that Howard had written in 1978 for the ACDA-Michigan newsletter. In the article, he dicusses the importance of teaching music reading through the eighth grade. Using Kodály techniques, Howard proposes a method of reading which coordinates with literature choice.
