SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Conductors must be current members of ACDA and must have been employed in the same position since the fall of 2014. No choral ensemble or conductor may appear on successive conferences. It is understood that ACDA will not assume financial responsibility for travel, food, or lodging for performance groups. This application implies that the submitted ensemble is prepared to travel and perform at the conference if accepted.

Conductors shall submit three sample recordings; one from the current concert season and one each from the previous two concert seasons. The total duration of the three recordings should be 10-15 minutes.

Upon receipt, the ACDA-Michigan Webmaster will assign each submission a number to ensure confidentiality until after the Listening Panel has completed its consideration. At no time will the choir/conductor information be known to any of the Listening Panel.
